With the rise of office work, many of us have been spending ever more time sitting in chairs, hunched over. The repeated flexion in our spinal discs due to poor posture can go unnoticed for years until, without warning, the damage manifests as back pain, often in the lower back (lumbar spine).
The Sidesaddle standing chair allows you to maintain a standing posture all day, without leg fatigue.
HOW IT WORKS
With the Sidesaddle, you stand with one leg while the other leg is resting.
When the standing leg gets tired, you can effortlessly switch sides by rotating the seat to switch standing and resting legs. The seat rotates hands-free to accommodate whichever side you are sitting on.
FIT
You can adjust he height of the seat to perfectly match your inseam and balance the left and right sides of your pelvis.
The Sidesaddle is designed to fit users with an inseam between 26" and 35".
FOOTREST ADJUSTMENT
The SidesaddleTM features an integrated footrest.
The height of the footrest can be finely adjusted for a comfortable thigh angle.
DESIGN AND BUILD
The SidesaddleTM is designed and assembled in Minneapolis, MN, with parts sourced from domestic wood and metal fabricators. The gas cylinders used for height adjustment are sourced overseas.
The all-hardwood inner plies are revealed so that the aesthetic of the design remains true to its construction.
The combination of steel, aluminum, and wood have been selected to optimize weight, stiffness, durability, and simplicity.

Will it fit me?
The seat and footrest are height adjustable. The chair fits users with an inseam between 26 inches and 35 inches, or a height between 4'11 and 6'3, although this may vary based on your individual proportions.
What is the return policy?
The Sidesaddle offers a truly unique way of sitting, and we understand that it may not suit everyone. If you are not satisfied with the chair, you may return it within 30 days of the purchase date. We do not pay for return shipping. There is no restocking fee.
International Delivery
The Sidesaddle is currently only available in the contiguous United States. We hope to offer international shipping in the future.
Warranty
We warranty the Sidesaddle for three years from the date of purchase.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
There are a few cases in which the warranty does not apply:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damages such as scratches, scrapes, and chipping to finished and powdered-coated components.
- Abuse, misuse, or accidental damage
- Damage due to improper installation
- Damage caused by the carrier or due to transport if returning the item
- Any modifications to the item or substitutions with non-Buttress Furniture components.
If the product fails under warranty, Buttress Furniture will remediate the failure by providing a replacement for the affected component(s).
Can I use my HSA/FSA to purchase?
Most ergonomic products can be purchased with your Health Savings Account or Flexible Savings Account with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from your physician, chiropractor, or physical therapist.
